I’m gonna say this straight off the bat: I have never had so much fun in a restaurant as I had when I went to Token. Of course, that’s because Token is more than a restaurant. There’s a bar, there’s excellent “high-end” fast food, and most importantly, all of your favourite retro arcade games. I visited Token on a Sunday evening expecting it to be quiet, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it was quite lively when we got there. I can only imagine how busy it gets on a Friday or Saturday evening, but it seems to me that any day is a good day to go!
Fonté café bar is located on Parliament Street in Dublin 2, steps away from City Hall, a short walk from Christchurch Cathedral, and right next to Temple Bar. With so many coffee shops around Dublin these days, it can be hard to stand out. But Fonté Coffee Roasters have carved out a space that is different to all the rest, with incredible coffee, a great atmosphere and their own secret garden. What makes this coffee shop even more unique is that the only other place you can visit a Fonté Coffee shop is across the Atlantic in Seattle. This is where Fonté Coffee Roasters started and they found their way to Dublin. How glad am I that they did!
Everything about New York is an experience, and where you go to eat should be an experience too. If this is what you’re looking for, then Alice’s Tea Cup is a great place to visit when in NYC, especially if you love Lewis Carroll’s magical story, be that in book form or one of the many film adaptation forms. I have always loved Alice in Wonderland, so when my boyfriend came to visit me while I was living in New York for the summer, he planned the perfect Alice in Wonderland-themed afternoon for me.
